Let’s face it: creating content consistently can feel like an endless uphill battle. Between writer’s block, time constraints, and the constant pressure to be extra creative, it’s no wonder many of us find ourselves staring blankly at our phones, wondering what on earth to post next.
That’s why at Hello Eleven, we love content batching. Content batching if focused, deep work time where you create multiple pieces of content in one sitting. When you give yourself this time you create better content that actually serves your business and takes impromptu posting that leaves you frazzled.
Why Batch Your Content? We all know that with anything you want to succeed, consistency is key. Batching allows you to plan, create, and schedule content in advance, which frees up your time to focus on other important parts of your business.
To maximize efficiency and creativity, we’ve developed a streamlined content batching process, and we’re about to let you in on it.
It starts with a solid content strategy, identifying your target audience and defining your content pillars. Once you have a clear direction, you can start ideating posts that align with your strategy and business goals.
For example, let’s say you’re a health coach getting ready to launch a 1:1 program and you want to create content leading up to it. Some post ideas might be high protein meal ideas, 20 minute workout circuits, exercise tips, meal prep hacks, etc. You can even start a series within each of these topics, such as high protein meal ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, & snacks.
Next, determine the best format for each idea – whether it’s a carousel, a shareable graphic, or a fun Reel. This helps to visualize the final product and gather the necessary assets. For Reels, we often create a simple shot list or script to guide the filming process.
Once the content is created and edited, you can get started on the captions. Make sure to add your final call-to-action and add any relevant hashtags.
Finally, use a scheduling software to visualize your grid and set your posts on autopilot. My personal favorite is Pallyy, and I’ve tried a lot of them!!
If you’ve ever felt like social media is a full time job then you need to give content batching a try! Or, better yet, become a Social Media Management client and let us do it all for you.
Xx, you got this!
